New Christians There are different levels in our connection with God. With that being so, not all messages from God should be taught to beginners because, like humans go through different stages of growth, from birth to adulthood, a new Christian needs to grow spiritually. In 1 Corinthians 3:2, Paul said, "I gave you milk to drink, not meat; for you were not able as yet. But neither indeed are you now able; for you are yet carnal." New Christians should be taught basic knowledge of God and their walk with Christ. So, bombarding someone who wants to get to know God, with too much information or force is not the best approach. When a new convert takes on more than he can chew after hearing a certain message, by acting without the spirit, the consequences could be dire. 1 Timothy 3:6 says, "Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he falls into the condemnation of the devil."
